Staff Training
All permanent staff at Meadowfield school receive the following training over their first year:
- A bespoke Induction Programme
- Safeguarding, online safety and Prevent
Mandatory training for All Teaching Staff (Teacher’s and TA’s) including:
- PROACT SCIPr UK® Introductory and Foundation Courses (12hr)
- Manual Handling Training
All staff get access to The WeCanAccess Academy where they can further develop their knowledge of accessibility issues.

We also encourage staff to continue to develop throughout their careers and so often support staff to take part in other courses or training that supports their role within school. We will support staff to run action research projects as part of our drive to “Build a community of expertise”.
