KCC School Transport for Children & Young People with SEND

From 21 February 2022, there will be some changes to the school transport service for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) as we arrange new transport contracts to replace those that are coming to an end.

We know that change can be difficult for children and young people with SEND and that it might be a tough time for some families, especially when you will have built good relationships with your drivers or passenger assistants.

In response to feedback from parents, we have updated this page to provide families with more information about the changes taking place.
